Brad Christensen

Founder / President

Brad has been in IT for 28 years – 20 years in management leading teams as large as 100 people across 12 countries. As a software tester, developer, manager, director, vice president, and CIO, Brad has successfully led all aspects of the software engineering lifecycle with small startups, midsized and large companies. Brad finds great satisfaction in helping companies find and keep great talent. His extensive network in Utah IT helps him find and place talent that isn’t accessible to typical recruiting firms. His decades of hands on experience position him to understand precisely what companies are asking for to help their organizations excel. Brad also founded Spark of Hope Foundation, a non-profit foundation. He enjoys humanitarian service, surfing and spending time with family.

Eric Drage

Vice President of Sales

Eric has 20+ years of sales and recruiting experience focused on technology in Utah. He loves the relationship building process and getting to know people on a personal level. “I have worked with so many amazing people and companies over the years.” Eric has worked for large national recruiting firms but prefers to focus on Utah businesses and has helped recruiting firms, for decades, start and grow their business in Utah. Eric co-founded Spark Resource Group in order to develop a Utah focused, IT only recruiting company. Eric thrives on understanding companies needs and finding qualified candidates fast. He prides himself on being the “go to guy” for his clients. Eric loves to golf and fish and spend time with his family, not necessarily in that order.

Matt Mellenthin

Director of Recruiting

Matt has 20 + years of recruiting experience, focused on technology in Utah. Matt enjoys helping a person get an interview, find a great job and help in their career growth and development. Working with great companies along the Wasatch Front, Matt has extensive experience finding local programming talent in Java, C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, PHP, Mobile, Web , DevOps, Data Engineering, Software Quality Assurance, Networking and Systems Engineering and Support. Matt is married with children and is an avid mountain adventurer and peak bagger.

Kim Christensen

Director of Operations

Kim co-founded Spark of Hope Foundation and has 20+ years of experience running the non-profit foundation. Kim’s professional career includes office manager and logistics broker for a freight brokerage firm, executive assistant for a human performance and business coaching company and account manager for a social media sales company. She has extensive experience in Customer Service, Event Planning, Research, Communications, Recruiting, and Teamwork. Kim’s professional and personal experiences enable her to see the great value in all people and to assert that "we" is stronger than "me." Each day, Kim enjoys learning something new from someone, putting others in their best light, and building relationships. She seeks adventure in the mountains and spending time with family.
